About Pulau Papan
Pulau Papan is a unique village built on the sea, located right next to Malenge island. It is a community of Muslim fishermen living in perfect harmony with the ocean.

What to know before coming
To make your stay as comfortable as possible.
Electricity
Electricity provided by generator only. Generally available from 6pm to 10pm. Remember to charge your batteries!
Disconnection
No Wi-Fi. Mobile signal (Telkomsel) is very weak. Take advantage of this to disconnect.
Cash
No ATM on the island. Bring enough Indonesian Rupiahs (IDR) before leaving Ampana or Gorontalo.
Health & Nature
Tropical zone: bring mosquito repellent and coral-friendly sunscreen.
